Bread Kugel

 
  • 3/4 lb. challah, broken in pieces, soaked in hot water and drained.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. cinammon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 2 apples, peeled and chopped.
Lightly grease a 9"x11" baking dish and pour in mixture. Sprinkle a little sugar, cinammon and nut mixture on top and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
